School Activities

To celebrate World Book Day (5th March 2020), Daubeney had a very special visit from Venessa Taylor, author of the book ‘Baller Boys’ which is based on our late Coach Reece and his football team.

The children got to learn about the characters, hear an exclusive extract from the story and take part in an interactive workshop.

They created a football using advice that they would give to the characters. The children also had the opportunity to ask questions about the book and what it’s like to be an author. It was very inspirational!
